Fishblade gang backstory and statblocks for The Expanse RPG

Fishblade presents a brief backstory for the sushi bar gang that holds secret ties to the local OPA in Europa. On the second page you will find the characteristics of each character. Later you will find different sets of statblocks for different levels, so you can use Fishblade in your The Expanse RPG game regardless of how advanced the player characters are.

Presentation

As a small sushi bar, Fishblade works just fine. As a group that holds secret ties to Europa’s local OPA gang, Fishblade works just fine as well. Sometimes they do investigation. Sometimes they leave a warning to some people. Sometimes they deliver leftover food to those under the OPA’s aid. Once they provided dinner to a false party provided by OPA to seal a false contract with a real aristocrat. That’s what Fishblade does, but they don’t deal with small fish. Aristocrats, rich merchants, politicians, the local security... but not the military. Oscar doesn’t want to deal with them.

Characters of Fishblade

Oscar: leader of the group , manager and chef of the sushibar. Doesn't like using guns.
Wilhelm: accountant of Fishblade, responsible for revising Oscar's plans. Seen as pessimistic. Always tired.
Little Suzy: a woman of action, nobody disdains Little Suzy. She's the sushiwoman of Fishblade.
Joey: mixologist at the bar, he also keeps an eye and an ear on the clients. Not fond of fighting. Dates Jill.
Jill: Deliverywoman of Fishblade. She's quick, very quick.

Current state of the project

Due to unforessen events, important things in my life turned into a snowball and I couldn’t submit the complete project to Fishblade 2023 Game Jam. It means you won’t find all statblocks ready and that some characters’ backstories might not be well developed as I wanted them to be. Yet, I think this is already enough for you to use as character seeds for your game and I hope you enjoy this gang’s concept. Of course, as with any RPG material, feel free to adapt the content at your will.

Expect future updates that’ll polish the information presented here.
